This is Noel Cruz! I first saw his work on instagram where his incredible talent to get faces to come to life struck me. He sell his creations on Ebay and the prices go high!

Reroot update!

It took about 12 to 14 hours to do the reroot. But it's fun!

Today it's so much easier to find shoes to complete your barbie's look than it was 10-15 years ago. There is anything you like from cute and discrete

My #1 rolemodel in the Barbie world!

Denisa Medrano is from Torrance, California. She's Creating the most beautiful doll hair styles! 
She studied at Otis College of Art and Design and graduated 2002. She's been working for big company's like Mattel, among others.

I came across Denisa's work on Instagram and then her tutorials on YouTube!
The first thing that caught me was that she had my dreamjob; to work for a company like mattel! But also that she thinks outside the box when she designs hair and is sharing her experience with her fans!

   Sonia is a big part of the "normal"-movement as I see it! Her repainting of dolls with TOO MUCH make up is showing kids a more normal standard of girls. Shes saving used dolls from the trash can and giving them a new life and a new face! As you know; I love that! Here is her most watched video!

   The videos are simple to follow and not to fast!
    I really like when you can see someone else do it so I know I'm doing it right but we are all different in how we learn! ;)

Where do I find the free patterns?

I struggled for a long time to find GOOD patterns that didn't cost. I mean, we are so many Barbie-nerds in this world, why not share our favorite tricks, webpages, stores, dolls, what we made and those damn patterns?

I have found some good pages that I want to share with you fellow nerds! ;) 

• Molendrix - A very basic page, easy to find what you're searching for! A lot of beautiful clothes and patterns. The style range is very wide, from old, old up to modern clothes! Cool!
• Sweet Living is a free magazine online that put up these really nice patterns! It in crochet and so cute!
• Sewing solutions have over 200 free patterns for Barbies! (200!!!) They also have cloth-patterns for the whole human family!  
• Pinterest - Here comes my favorite! Pinterest is the easiest way to find patterns, tips and solutions. Write your search word and you get options on your screen. Click on the one you like and you'll get directed to the homepage you were searching for! Perfect! :)
